Innovate|2|market is owned and operated by Claire-Juliette Beale, a global marketing professional with 17 years of leadership, management, and consulting experience with organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50. Her mission is to help them increase revenues and profits via opportunity identification, concept and market development, leading and managing initiatives from the very front end of innovation to market launch that prove critical to the success of new product introductions.
Most recently (2011) she helped Quintiles Transnational, a $3 billion Biopharma service company, successfully launch their Quintiles Infosario™ suite of services. In 2010 she was building innovation capability at Bank of America.
Claire-Juliette has worked on programs of both regional and global scope in B2B and B2C arenas, across industries, including: banking, Biopharma, fast moving consumer goods, education, personal care, infant and children products, consumer electronics, defense and security, aerospace, dual use technologies, such as nuclear energy medical device, houseware, telecommunications, retail, rail, Internet and software. Claire-Juliette is directly responsible for client satisfaction.
Prior to Innovate|2|market, Claire-Juliette was a Partner at Touch360, a strategic design firm where she helped clients identify opportunities for new products and services, to innovate, and to design new products, using a holistic multidisciplinary approach (Design for Experience).
Prior to founding Touch360, Claire-Juliette was with the founding executive team of global market research provider Global Market Insite (GMI) where she worked with clients to gain critical consumer insights for successful new product launches. She championed the development of new Internet market research tools and online panel strategies that improved the innovation process, and led to their adoption by customers and users. She led and managed corporate projects and initiatives in areas ranging from strategic business and product planning to marketing implementation and sales, and she spearheaded expansion into the European market.
Before joining GMI, she was the President of Business Development International, a management consulting firm. In addition to addressing specific international marketing and business development needs of small and medium-sized companies, she specialized and served global organizations in high-tech, scientific, defense and dual use industries, products and technologies, as well as federal and government agency markets. Previous experience includes strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company and project management at industrial design firm Bresslergroup.
Claire-Juliette holds a B.A. in English from Catholic University, Angers, France. She holds a M. S in the Management of Information and Communication Technologies from University of Cergy-Pontoise, France, with majors in eMarketing, eCommerce and the Management of Change, and a Certificate in International Business Management from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business (Executive program).
She is bilingual in English and in French and speaks fluent Spanish. Being born and raised for eight years in Tangier, Morocco, has given her a lifelong empathy, respect, and interest for people of other cultures. A dual US/French citizen, she has worked in France, the US, and the Netherlands. She has conducted business, stayed and travelled in many countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Claire-Juliette is active with various professional organizations, among them the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) where she is past President of the Carolinas chapter and was Track Chair, and Co-Chair at the 2005, 2007 and 2008 annual conferences. She has been a speaker and mentor in various forums and workshops in the US, Europe, and China. She has written for Business Week and Visions, the magazine of the Product Development and Management Association.
Her peers, colleagues, and clients, know her as a relentless driver of programs and execution, including under such challenging conditions as fast growth, remote / virtual management, M&A and spin off. GMI founder and former CEO has probably described her best as "An Effective Catalyst for Topline Growth" .
She excels at building, leading, managing, and collaborating with, internal and external as well as geographically dispersed teams with diverse functional and cultural backgrounds to achieve results, working with people from all walks of life who are younger, older, and smarter than she is. She is passionate about customers and making sure their voice is heard.
